POWDERED SUGAR COOKIES 
1 c. butter
3/4 c. powdered sugar
2 1/2 c. sifted self rising flour
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter and powdered sugar, add flour, vanilla and nuts (I use walnuts); mix thoroughly. Store in refrigerator until ready to use. Shape into round balls. Bake on greased cookie sheet at 325 degrees for about 30 minutes. Cool before removing from sheet and then toss in powdered sugar.
