MICROWAVE CUSTARD 
2 c. milk
4 beaten eggs
1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Ground nutmeg

Set power select at medium. In 1 quart glass measure, heat milk 4-5 minutes or until scalded; quickly stir in eggs, sugar and vanilla. Pour into 6 greased custard cups (6 ounces each); sprinkle with nutmeg. On glass oven tray arrange dishes in a circular pattern. Set power select at medium-low.

Heat 7 1/2 to 9 minutes or until custard is set. Let stand until cool. It will thicken as it cools. If you don't have a carousel you have to turn the cups. Serves 6.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
