2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter, softened (not melted)
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. drained chopped maraschino cherries

Stir together flour, soda and salt; set aside. Cream together butter and sugar until fluffy. Blend in vanilla. Add flour mixture and stir to blend. Stir in chocolate chips, nuts and cherries. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 375°F for 8 to 10 minutes.
