CHERRY CHOCOLATE CAKE 
CAKE:

1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
2 eggs
1 (21 oz.) can Wilderness cherry pie filling
2 tsp. almond flavoring

FROSTING:

1 c. sugar
5 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. milk
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces

NOTE: You don't need a cake mix with pudding in the mix, the pie filling makes it very moist.

Combine cake ingredients. Mix by hand, making sure to not break many cherries. Pour into greased and floured 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes, or until cake springs back when lightly touched.

Frost when cool with the following: In a small saucepan, combine sugar, butter and milk. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly and cook 1 minute. Remove from heat; stir in chocolate pieces until melted and smooth, and then until frosting starts to thicken. Pour immediately over cake.
