BAKED CABBAGE WITH GRATED CHEESE 
1 cabbage
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. flour
1 pt. cabbage stock
Salt & pepper
4 tbsp. cheese, grated
Cracker crumbs

Boil cabbage for 15 minutes in salted water, drain. Add more water; boil until cabbage is tender. Drain; cool. Chop cabbage; put cabbage in buttered baking dish. Melt butter; stir in flour. Add cabbage stock; stir until smooth. Season with salt and pepper; mix in grated cheese. Pour sauce over cabbage; sprinkle with cracker crumbs. Dot with butter. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
