BLUEBERRY GRUNT 
6 c. blueberries
1 c. sugar, mixed with 1 tsp. cornstarch
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. butter

In large skillet, combine berries, 1 cup water, sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon. Bring to a boil, then simmer 10 minutes. Remove from heat.

Sift together flour, salt, and baking powder. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Make a well and pour in milk.

Drop by spoonfuls over berries. Cover tightly and steam 15-20 minutes (need enough heat for berries to bubble while steaming).
