SWEET & SOUR MEATBALLS 
2 lb. ground beef
2/3 c. dry oatmeal
1/2 c. water
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. minced onions
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 c. mushrooms, diced
1/2 c. lemon juice
1 c. sugar
1 (11 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 c. water

Combine beef, oatmeal, 1/2 cup water, eggs, onion, salt and pepper. Shape into meatballs.

Combine mushrooms, lemon juice, sugar, tomato sauce and 1/2 water in a deep fryer or slow cooker. Drop in meat balls and simmer. For deep fryer cook for one hour. Lengthen cooking time for the slow cooker. Serve over rice. Serves 6.
