GERMAN APPLE STRUDEL 
1 c. plain flour
1/3 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1 egg yolk
Vanilla

CHEESE MIXTURE:

8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 eggs (yolk in crust)
1/4 c. sugar

TOPPING:

4 apples, peeled and sliced in small pieces
1/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cinnamon mixed in 1 bag slivered almonds

Use springform pan. Make crust. Crust must come up some on sides of pan. Dough will pat easily. Put flour and pat dough upward. Combine cream cheese, eggs, sugar and pour over crust bottom. Place peeled and sliced apples over cheese mixture, add sugar, cinnamon and almonds. Bake at 450 degrees for 20 minutes, then 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
