HONEYED YAMS 
6 lg. yams
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. honey
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. water

Cook and slice yams. Mix honey, cornstarch, salt and water. In saucepan and cook over low heat until clear. Add butter and stir. Pour mixture over cooked sweet potatoes in casserole and bake at 400 degrees until brown.
