CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS 
1 chicken, boiled, deboned
1 pt. half and half
1 pt. milk
3 c. flour
2 1/2 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/4 c. water
3 tbsp. oil
1 c. buttermilk

Boil chicken, take meat off the bone. Add half and half and milk to chicken and juice. In separate bowl, mix all dry ingredients. Add warm water then add oil and buttermilk, mix. Bring chicken and sauce to boil. Drop in hunks of dumplings. Let boil about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
