MARINADE FOR CHICKEN OR BEEF 
1/4 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. olive oil
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. cooking sherry
1/2 tsp. garlic
1/2 tsp. coarse ground pepper
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 sm. onion, sliced thin
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Combine all ingredients. Mix well. Prepare meat. I use steaks or chicken fillets. Pierce meat well with fork. Pour some of marinade in bottom of dish. Add meat. Pour remaining marinade over meat. Cover and refrigerate at least 6 hours, preferably overnight. Turn meat at least once to make sure it is covered with marinade. Cook on barbeque grill.
