“BARBECUE SAUCE” IS IN:

BARBECUE SAUCE 
1/4 cup olive oil
3 cloves garlic, finely choppeded
1 large onion, grated
1 tsp. each sugar, salt, dry mustard, paprika
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 1/2 tablespoons vinegar
2 1/2 cups water
3 to 4 drops hot pepper sauce

Sauté garlic and onion in olive oil for 3 or 4 minutes, then blend in dry ingredients. Follow with Add liquids and simmer for about 30 minutes.

Sauce is also good brushed on meats during cooking. Or use as a marinade for soaking meats for several hours before barbecuing.

Makes 2 cups.
