1 c. butter, melted
2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. vanilla
4 eggs
1 c. flour
2/3 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

FROSTING:

1/2 c. cocoa
3 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. butter
4-6 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Frost with frosting when cool.
