BUTTERMILK PIE 
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/4 c. melted butter
3 tbsp. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt

Blend egg yolks, buttermilk, vanilla, lemon juice, and butter. Add mixed dry ingredients. Beat 3 egg whites and 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar until peaks form. Fold into above mixture.

Pour into 10-inch graham cracker crust. Bake 10 minutes at 425 degrees, then 35 minutes at 350 degrees or until knife inserted comes out clean.
