12 lg. green tomatoes 12 sm. green pepper 4 med. onions 3 c. sugar 4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. flour 1 c. mustard 1 c. vinegar 1 qt. salad dressing Grind pepper, tomatoes and onions until fine. Then drain. Pour enough boiling water over top of mixture to cover and let stand 2 minutes. Heat water mixture, then add mustard, vinegar, sugar and salt. Stir well. Boil 15 minutes. Make a paste of flour and water and add to above mixture. Cook 10 minutes. while hot, add salad dressing. Stir well and place in glass jars and seal while hot. Makes about 10 pints. |
