Total Cooking Time: 3 to 4 1/2 minutes 1/3 c. brown sugar 1 tsp. grated orange peel 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. allspice 4 bananas, sliced 1/3 c. orange flavored liqueur (or rum) Ice cream
Place butter in a 1 1/2-quart casserole. Microwave on HIGH (100%) for 45 seconds to 1 minute or until melted. Stir in brown sugar, orange peel, cinnamon and allspice. Add bananas, stir to coat. Microwave on HIGH (100%) for 2-3 minutes or until bubbly. Place in a chafing dish.
Pour liqueur in a 1-cup measure. Microwave on HIGH (100%) for 15-30 seconds or until warm. Pour over bananas and ignite. Do not ignite in the microwave. Serve over ice cream. Recipe yield: 4-5 servings.
