CREAM:

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. oil
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

ADD AND BEAT WELL:

1 egg
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Blend in 2 tablespoons milk; stir in 1 cup nuts. Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 12 minutes.
