GERMAN MEATBALLS 
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. horseradish
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Blend this mix into 2 cups soft bread, 2 tablespoons oil, and 1 1/2 pound ground beef or turkey. Make small meatballs. Brown them in skillet. Place in 1 1/2 quart baking covered dish. Pour mixture of 2 cups applesauce and 4 teaspoon brown sugar over meatballs. Simmer 1/2 hour, covered.
