MONKEY BREAD
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water
2 sticks real butter
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 sm. can whole evaporated milk
3 1/2 c. plain flour

Dissolve yeast in warm water and let it set for about 5 minutes. Melt 1 stick of butter in a large bowl in the microwave. Stir in sugar, salt and milk until sugar dissolves. After the mixture has cooled to lukewarm, stir in the yeast mixture. Stir in the flour all at once. Knead dough until smooth and elastic. Cover with a clean cloth and let rise for about 2 hours. Melt other stick of butter. Punch dough down and roll out into a rectangle about 1/2" to 3/4" thick. Cut into pieces. Dip each piece in butter and place around in a bundt pan. Make two layers. Cover and let rise for 2 hours. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
