CRUNCHY CARAMEL CHEWS 
1 pkg. caramels
1/4 c. evaporated milk
3 c. corn flakes crushed to 1 1/2 c.
1 1/2 c. flaked coconut
1 c. chopped walnuts

Melt caramels in evaporated milk in the top of a double boiler. Stir often. Mix remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Pour caramel mixture over dry ingredients. Blend to coat evenly. Lightly butter hands. Shape candy into 1 inch balls. Let stand on wax papers until firm. Store in an airtight container in a cool dry place.
