COCONUT PECAN CHEWS 
1/4 c. instant dry milk
1/2 c. butter
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/3 c. chopped pecans
1/3 c. coconut

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients, gradually add to creamed mixture. Fold in pecans and coconut. Drop onto cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
