FROZEN COLE SLAW 
1 lg. head cabbage
1 tsp. salt
1 c. shredded carrots
1 green pepper, shredded
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 c. vinegar
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. mustard seed

Shred cabbage and mix with salt. Let stand 1 hour and squeeze out juice. Add carrots and pepper. Boil together sugar, water, vinegar, celery and mustard seeds. Add to cabbage mixture and freeze.

I've been making this for years, it's the best! Not the old soggy mayo type slaw. Wonderful to make ahead for potlucks or freeze in 6 1-lb margarine tubs for home use.
