FROZEN COLE SLAW | |
1 lg. head cabbage 1 tsp. salt 1 c. shredded carrots 1 green pepper, shredded 2 c. sugar 1/2 c. water 1 c. vinegar 1 tsp. celery seed 1 tsp. mustard seed Shred cabbage and mix with salt. Let stand 1 hour and squeeze out juice. Add carrots and pepper. Boil together sugar, water, vinegar, celery and mustard seeds. Add to cabbage mixture and freeze. |
