BEEF & BISCUIT CASSEROLE 
1-1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 can refrigerator biscuits
1/2 c. sour cream

Brown ground beef with onion and green pepper in skillet, stirring until crumbly. Combine tomato sauce with chili powder and garlic salt in saucepan. Simmer for several minutes; remove from heat.

Combine egg and sour cream with 1 cup cheese in bowl, mixing well. Stir into tomato sauce. Line bottom of 8 x 8 inch baking pan with biscuits, sealing seams. Layer tomato sauce and ground beef mixture over dough. Top with remaining 1/2 cup cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until crust is brown. Yields 6 servings.
