BEEF 'N BISCUIT CASSEROLE 
2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 tsp. chili powder
3/4 tsp. garlic salt
2 cans buttermilk biscuits
1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar (separated)
1/2 c. sour cream
1 egg, slightly beaten

Brown beef, onions, and green peppers in large skillet. Drain well. Add tomato sauce, chili powder and garlic salt. Simmer while separating biscuit dough. Place layer of biscuits over bottom of 9 inch square pan. Combine 1/2 cup of cheese, sour cream and egg. Remove meat mixture from heat, stir in sour cream mixture and spoon over biscuits.

Arrange remaining biscuits on top. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
