LEMON BREAD 
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
Grated rind of 1 lemon
1/2 c. milk
Chopped nuts (opt.)
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. bread flour
Dash of salt

ICING:

Juice of 1 lemon
1/2 c. sugar

Mix all ingredients as you would any cake. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Ice bread with mixture of lemon juice and sugar. Put bread under the broiler after frosting. Watch carefully. Take out of broiler when golden brown.
