LEEKS WITH PEA PODS 
2 c. leeks, cleaned, trimmed and sliced
1/4 tsp. bottled minced garlic
2 tsp. butter
1/4 c. white wine
Salt and pepper
1 (6 oz.) pkg. frozen pea pods

Cook leeks and garlic in butter over medium heat for 2 minutes in a large fry pan or wok. Add wine, salt, pepper to leeks and bring to boil. Cover and simmer 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir frozen pea pods into leek. Return to boil and reduce heat. Simmer uncovered till vegetables are heated through and liquid is nearly evaporated.
