POTATOES AND LETTUCE 
1 lb. side pork or bacon
Big handful of leaf lettuce
Salt
Pepper
1/4 c. vinegar
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. flour

Cook potatoes for a meal, drain and set aside. Brown side pork or bacon, cut in one inch pieces, in fry pan. Break leaf lettuce in bite size pieces and lay on potatoes. Pour hot meat and 1/2 cup of grease over lettuce and potatoes. Add salt and pepper to leftover grease, vinegar, water and flour to make gravy and pour over potatoes. Serve with bread.
