CHRISTMAS FRUITCAKE COOKIES 
1 c. light brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
4 eggs
Juice glass of brandy or wine
3 tsp. baking soda dissolved in
3 tbsp. milk
1 box dates (1 lb.)
1 lb. candied cherries
6 c. pecans
1 box white raisins
1 lb. candied pineapple
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
3 c. sifted self rising flour

Add one cup flour to fruit. Cream sugar and butter. Add wine or brandy. Add milk and soda, egg yolks that has been well beaten. Then add flour and fruit. Beat egg whites and fold in. Bake at 275 degrees for 20 minutes.
