TEXAS BEEF SKILLET 
2 lbs. ground beef
2 med. fresh onions, diced
1 (12 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
1 (16 oz.) can red kidney beans
1/4 lb. quick cooking rice
2 med. fresh green peppers, diced
3 tsp. chili powder
2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 lb. hot pepper cheese, shredded

In a pan cook ground beef and onion until meat is browned and onion is tender. Drain off fat. Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato puree, kidney beans, uncooked rice, green pepper, chili powder and garlic salt. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer, covered for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Place in pre-sprayed long pan. Top with cheese. Place in oven at 350 degrees until cheese melts and mixture is hot, approximately 10 minutes.
