PEANUT BRITTLE 
3 c. cane sugar
1 c. white syrup
1/4 c. water
1 tbsp. butter

Cook to 250 degrees, turn off and leave 1 minute. Add 1/2 pound peanuts (salted), then cook to 280 degrees. Add 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda and pour into buttered pans.
