PRALINES 
2 c. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. chopped pecans

Cook buttermilk, sugar and soda in 4 quart saucepan over low heat. Boil 5 minutes. Add 2 tablespoons butter and beat until thick. Add nuts. Spoon out onto waxed paper.
