CLASSIC OKRA 
2 tbsp. unsalted butter
1 sm. onion, minced
1 lb. fresh okra
1/4 c. water
Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Heat butter in saucepan. Add onion. Cook until translucent. Cut both ends off okra. Add okra and water to onion. Cook on medium heat 10 minutes, checking to see that okra does not stick. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Serve warm. 4 servings.
