ICE CREAM DESSERT 
1/3 c. butter
2 c. crushed rice cereal
1/3 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. flaked coconut
2/3 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 gallon ice cream

Place butter in a 1 quart casserole. Heat for 45 to 60 seconds on FULL POWER until melted. Add rice cereal, walnuts, coconut and brown sugar. Mix well. Press 2/3 of the crumb mixture into bottom of 2 quart casserole. Leave ice cream in carton and place in oven for 5 to 7 minutes on DEFROST or until softened. Spread ice cream over crumb layer. Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over the top. Freeze until ready to serve. Serves 18.
