STIR AND DROP SUGAR COOKIES | |
2 eggs 2/3 c. vegetable oil 2 tsp. vanilla 3/4 c. sugar 2 c. flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt Beat eggs with fork until well blended. Stir in oil and vanilla. Blend in sugar until mixture thickens. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together and stir into oil mixture. Drop by teaspoonful about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees. until edges are slightly brown. Remove immediately from cookie sheet. FROSTING: 2 tbsp. butter 2 c. powdered sugar 1 unbeaten egg 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar For frosting cut butter into sugar until mixture resembles cornmeal. Add egg white, vanilla and cream of tartar. Beat by hand until stiff. If needed add a little milk until spreading consistency. Makes 4 dozen. |
