BROILED SHRIMP WITH ONIONS 
1 1/2 lbs. med. to lg. shrimp (20-25 count)
1 lg. onion, sliced
1 lemon
1/4 lb. butter
Paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
White wine (optional)

Peel and devein shrimp. Wash with tap water. Layer on bottom of large Pyrex casserole. Cover with onion rings. Chop butter and sprinkle over onions. Squeeze juice of lemon over this. Salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with paprika.

Bake in preheated 350 degree oven until butter melts, 3-5 minutes. Turn on broil and cook until shrimp turn pink (2-3 minutes). Don't let onion get brown. Can use white wine. Serves 2.
