JEWISH COFFEE CAKE 
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 pt. sour cream
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla and sour cream. Add flour, salt, baking powder and soda.

Mix separately:

1/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 to 3/4 c. chocolate chips
1/2 to 3/4 c. chopped walnuts (optional)

Either mix this into batter or spread in greased tube pan half of batter, half chocolate chip mixture, batter, then mixture. (I mix it in). Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
