BLUEBERRY DROP COOKIES 
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg, well beaten
1 tsp. lemon extract
1/2 c. milk
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. blueberries

Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg and beat well. Mix milk and lemon extract. Then add alternately with dry ingredients (previously stirred together). Then lastly gently add berries. Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 325 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. (Also can use almond flavoring instead of lemon extract and it's fabulous.)
