BOSTON BROWN BREAD 
1 c. flour, sifted
1 c. whole wheat flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. raisins
1 egg
1 c. light molasses
3/4 c. buttermilk

Resift flours with sugar soda and salt. Toss in raisins. Beat eggs and blend with molasses and buttermilk. Blend in flour mixture. Pour into greased 9 x 5 inch loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes.
