APPLE CRISP 
4-6 peeled & sliced apples
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. water
2 c. uncooked oatmeal
2/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
2/3 c. melted butter

Lay apples into an 8"x10" butter cake pan. Sprinkle with sugar. Slowly pour the water over the top. Mix oatmeal, flour, soda, brown sugar, salt and cinnamon in a bowl. Add melted butter. Mix until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 350 to 375 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes until apples are tender.
