COCOA FUDGE 
2/3 c. cocoa
3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tbsp. light corn syrup
1 1/2 c. milk
4 1/2 tbsp. butter
3/4 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Combine cocoa, sugar, salt and syrup. Stir in milk and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook to 232 degrees or a soft ball forms when dropped into cold water. Remove from heat; drop in butter. Cool to lukewarm. Add vanilla and nuts. Beat until mixture thickens and looses its gloss. Turn into a well- buttered pan.
