GLAZED SWEET POTATOES 
2 cans (17 oz.) sweet potatoes
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. pear syrup
1/4 c. orange juice
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. pecan halves

Place sweet potatoes in buttered shallow baking dish. Combine brown sugar, cornstarch and salt in saucepan. Add pear syrup and orange juice. Cook and stir over high heat until mixture boils and thickens. Add butter and pecans. Pour over potatoes. Cook uncovered at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Makes 8 servings.
