HARD CANDY 
1 c. water
2 c. sugar
1 c. white Karo syrup
Powdered sugar

Mix together in pan the water, sugar and syrup. Bring to a boil, 290 degrees. Just before boil stir in 1 teaspoon flavor and 1/2 teaspoon food coloring. Remove from heat and pour into buttered pan. Let cool a little, cut with scissors. Put cut pieces into bowl of powdered sugar.
