GARLIC BREAD | |
2 loaves French bread 2 cloves garlic, mashed 1 c. (2 sticks) butter, softened 1/2 c. parsley, chopped Parmesan or Romano cheese, grated Slice loaves in half lengthwise. Blend garlic with butter in a small bowl. Spread mixture on slices of bread. Sprinkle parsley on top and add a light coating of cheese. Place slices of bread on a greased cookie sheet (cut slices in half if too long for pan). Heat in a moderate oven (350 degrees) for 20 minutes or until hot and crispy. Makes about 10 servings. |
