RICE APPLE CRISP 
3 c. cooked rice
1 (20 oz.) can pie-sliced apples
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. flour
6 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Combine all ingredients except flour and sugar. Cut butter into mixture until crumbly. Stir in nut meats. Sprinkle over rice-apple mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve warm topped with whipped cream if desired. Makes 6 servings.
