FLANK STEAK TERIYAKI 
1 1/2 lbs. flank steak
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. dry ginger or minced fresh
1/2 tsp. MSG (optional)
2 cloves minced garlic

Slice meat very thin (easier if partially frozen). Mix remaining ingredients well and pour over steak. Let stand at least 2 hours or overnight. Remove meat and thread on toothpicks. Place on cookie sheet and broil about 5 minutes a side. Serves 6-8.
