SQUASH OR PUMPKIN BREAD 
3 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 heaping tsp. cocoa
2 c. sugar
2 c. pumpkin (canned) or squash
1 c. vegetable oil
2/3 c. water
2 eggs

Mix first 6 ingredients in one bowl, mix last 5 in another bowl, then combine together. Mix 1 1/2 cups raisins and 1 cup nuts (optional) with a little flour to coat, then add to batter. Pour into greased and floured (flour bottom only) bread pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean. Remove from pans to cool after 10 minutes. Makes great holiday gifts.
