RAISED POTATO DONUTS 
2 eggs
2 c. riced potatoes
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
2 cakes compressed yeast
1 c. shortening, melted
3 c. lukewarm milk
8 1/2 c. flour

Knead until smooth but not a stiff dough. Let rise, roll thin and cut out. Let rise 40 minutes. Fry in oil. If a glazed donut is wanted while they are hot.

GLAZE: Take powdered sugar, water and a little butter. Stir as heavy cream.
