SPICY CHICKEN WITH WINE MUSHROOM
SAUCE
 
1 pkg. chicken parts
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. coriander
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 c. butter
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 c. hot water
14 oz. can mushrooms
1/4 c. white wine
Electric fry pan

Mix together flour, salt, and spices. Reserve 2 tablespoon of mixture. Dredge chicken pieces in mixture. Heat fry pan to 325 degrees with butter and boil. Add chicken and cook, turning about 15 minutes until brown on all sides. Remove chicken from pan and set aside. Drain off all but 2 tablespoons of oil from pan.

Add reserve flour mixture to oil, stirring to brown, about 1 minute. Slowly add hot water, stirring constantly to make a smooth sauce. Add mushrooms and wine. Return chicken to pan. Cover and cook about 15 more minutes until chicken is done. Remove lid cook 5 more minutes.
