5 c. cereal (such as Kix, etc) 1 c. salted Spanish peanuts 1 c. raisins 1 c. banana chips (optional) 1 (3 1/8 oz.) pkg. vanilla regular (not instant) pudding and pie filling 1/2 c. honey 1/2 c. peanut butter Butter cookie sheet, then mix cereal, nuts, raisins, and banana chips in large bowl. Mix pudding filling (dry) and honey in small saucepan, heat to boiling over low heat stirring constantly. Reduce heat, boil and stir 1 minute. Remove and stir in peanut butter. Pour over cereal mixture and toss until evenly coated. Spread in cookie sheet and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Break into bite-size pieces. Yields about 10 cups of snack. |
