GERMAN CASSEROLE 
1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut (undrained)
2/3 c. white rice (uncooked)
1 onion, diced
1 lb. beef or pork sausage, cooked and drained
salt and pepper to taste
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce

Pour sauerkraut into casserole dish and sprinkle with rice. Add onion, meat, salt, pepper and tomato sauce.

Bake at 350°F for 35 to 40 minutes.

I couldn't tell you how many times that I have made this. I double the ingredients and make it in a 9X13 Pyrex
